Controls Engineer
Actual AI is looking for a Controls Engineer to join our team of talented engineers working on cutting-edge technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for our AI and machine learning applications.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement control systems for AI and machine learning applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and specifications for control systems

Develop software and algorithms for control systems using programming languages such as Python or C++

Conduct tests and experiments to ensure that control systems meet design specifications

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems as needed

Maintain accurate documentation and logs of control system development and testing activities

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in control systems and AI/machine learning
Requirements:

Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or other programming languages

Familiarity with control systems design and implementation, including PID control and adaptive control

Experience with real-time operating systems, such as QNX or VxWorks

Familiarity with industrial automation systems and communication protocols, such as Modbus and OPC
-
Knowledge of software development principles and methodologies, including version control systems (e.g. Git)

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with machine learning and AI systems

Familiarity with embedded systems design and development

Experience with robotics and autonomous systems

Knowledge of signal processing and digital signal processing (DSP) techniques

Understanding of electrical circuit design and troubleshooting
